Small electric goods vehicles have become a real alternative to the diesel one-tonner for city and town deliveries. This comparison covers every four-wheel model on EVPunjab. Prices are ex-showroom starting prices and claimed figures as listed on EVPunjab on 4 October 2026; where a price is marked as an estimate on the model's page, treat it as indicative and get a dealer quote.

Which one fits your work?

For the lowest entry price, the Euler Turbo EV 1000 and Tata Ace Pro EV are the cheapest ways into an electric mini truck. The Turbo EV 1000 carries more (1,000 kg against 750 kg) and claims more range.

For fast turnaround, the Mahindra Zeo is the standout among the smaller trucks: DC fast charging takes it from 0 to 80% in about 71 minutes, and it comes with a 7-year / 1.5 lakh km battery warranty.

For full one-tonne loads on Tata's network, the Ace EV 1000 matches the diesel Ace's load class with a 21.3 kWh LFP battery and a 7-year battery warranty.

For heavier loads, the Montra Eviator is a step up in size — about 1.7 tonnes of payload on a 10.3 ft deck, with CCS2 fast charging.

Range on a working day

Certified ranges are measured empty. With a full load, frequent stops and the AC on, expect noticeably less. For multi-drop routes, map your daily kilometres and add a margin — a truck that needs a mid-shift charge loses earning time. Our guides to real-world vs claimed range and battery life cover what affects it.

Running costs

Electricity costs far less per kilometre than diesel, and an electric drivetrain has no engine oil, clutch or gearbox to service. Our EV ownership cost calculator lets you compare total cost over 3, 5 or 8 years with your own numbers.
