India's electric motorcycle line-up has grown from a couple of commuters into a real range, from ₹1 lakh city bikes to performance machines. Prices are ex-showroom starting prices and claimed figures as listed on EVPunjab on 4 October 2026; where a price is marked as an estimate on the model's page, treat it as indicative and get a dealer quote.

Commuters (under ₹1.5 lakh)

| Bike | Price (ex-showroom) | Battery | Claimed range | Top speed | |---|---|---|---|---| | Ola Roadster X | ₹99,999 | 2.5 kWh | 140 km | 105 km/h | | Revolt RV1 | ₹99,999 | 2.2 kWh | 100 km | 70 km/h | | Oben Rorr EVO | ₹1.25 lakh | 3.4 kWh | 180 km | 110 km/h | | Revolt RV400 | ₹1.40 lakh | 3.24 kWh | 150 km | 85 km/h |

For a daily commute, the Ola Roadster X offers the most range and speed for the lowest price; the Revolt RV1 is the simplest city bike, with a removable battery. The Oben Rorr EVO claims the most range in this group, using an LFP battery built for long life. The Revolt RV400 has a removable battery you can charge indoors.

The Matter Aera is the only electric motorcycle here with a manual gearbox, for riders who want to change gear. Ultraviolette's two bikes lead on performance, with the biggest batteries and the highest top speeds. Royal Enfield's Flying Flea C6 is a lighter, retro-styled city bike from the brand's new electric sub-brand.

How to choose

  • Daily distance first. Most city commutes are well under 50 km a day; even the smallest batteries here cover that with room to spare.
  • Highway use needs speed. If you ride on national highways, look for a top speed above 100 km/h.
  • Removable battery or not. If you park on the street or in a building without a charging point, a removable battery (Revolt) lets you charge indoors.
  • Real-world range. Expect 15-30% below claimed figures — see real-world vs claimed range.
