Privacy Policy

This describes what EVPunjab actually collects today, not a generic template. We’ll update this page if that changes — for example if we enable analytics or user accounts in future.

There are no public user accounts

EVPunjab doesn’t currently have sign-up or login for visitors. (An internal admin area used by our editorial team is separately authenticated and isn’t connected to any public account system.)

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address and message you provide so we can respond and, where relevant, investigate a correction. We don’t sell or share this information, and we don’t use it for marketing.

Server and hosting logs

Like virtually any website, our hosting infrastructure logs standard technical information (IP address, browser user agent, requested page, timestamp) for security and reliability purposes. This is not linked to an identity and is handled by our hosting provider’s standard infrastructure.

Cookies

We don’t currently set tracking or advertising cookies. If we enable analytics (planned: privacy-conscious, aggregate usage analytics) or advertising in future, we’ll update this page and add a consent mechanism before doing so — not after.

Data from EV/charging data corrections

If you report an error via a station’s “Report incorrect information” link or the contact form, we use whatever contact details you provide only to follow up on that report.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you (realistically, just contact-form submissions) and ask us to delete it — see Contact.

Changes to this policy

As EVPunjab adds features (accounts, analytics, advertising), this page will be updated to reflect what’s actually happening, with the “last updated” date above kept current.
