The Ace EV 1000 is the heavier-duty version of Tata's electric Ace, rated for a 1,000 kg payload (2,120 kg GVW) — the load class of the diesel Ace most fleets already run.
A 21.3 kWh LFP battery gives a certified range of 161 km on a charge, and a 27 kW (36 hp) motor with 130 Nm gives a top speed of 60 km/h. Tata covers the battery with a 7-year warranty.
