Most EV owners do most of their charging at home. Public chargers matter for intercity trips, for people without home parking, and for commercial drivers. This guide lists the verified public chargers on EVPunjab city by city, as of 4 October 2026. Each link goes to the station's page with its connectors, access type and the date we last verified it.
Which connector do you need?
- CCS2 — the DC fast-charging standard used by most electric cars sold in India today.
- Type 2 — the standard AC connector for cars; slower, but common.
- Bharat AC001 / DC001 — older Indian standards, used by some earlier electric cars and many commercial EVs.
- LECCS — the connector Ather scooters use at Ather Grid points.
Our charging connectors guide explains each in detail.

Planning an intercity trip
- Charge fully at home before you leave — it's the cheapest and most reliable charge you'll get.
- Check your connector against each stop. A CCS2 car can't use a Bharat DC-001 charger.
- Open the station page before you go: it shows when we last verified it, and the operator's app shows live availability.
- Keep a buffer. Plan to arrive at each charger with at least 15-20% left, in case it's busy or out of order.
Our EV trip planner estimates how many stops a trip needs, and the full map is on our Punjab charging stations page. Spotted a charger we've missed, or one that's out of order? Tell us.
