Overview
The Eva is built by Vayve Mobility, a Pune-based Indian EV startup founded in 2021 — and it's the smallest, cheapest and most different car on this entire site: a two-seat city car with an integrated solar roof, marketed as India's first solar-assisted EV.
It's offered in three variants with different battery sizes: Nova (9 kWh, 125 km claimed range), Stella (12.6 kWh, 175 km), and Vega (18 kWh, 250 km) — the roof-mounted solar panel adds a claimed extra 10 km of range per day on top of whatever charging you do normally. It's aimed at a completely different buyer than the rest of this site's mostly family-SUV catalog: a single city commuter who wants the lowest possible running cost and doesn't need rear seats.
